The sale of the year is finally open to the public today & things are going fast! Some of the sold out items will be restocked, so keep checking back if there’s an item that you have your eye on! Today I thought that I would share what I bought from the NSale & my thoughts on each piece. I’ve shared my favorites in each category on the #NSale tab. For some reason, Shopstyle Collective (that I use to create my widgets) is marking some products as sold out even though they are not, so be sure to click on a product if you’re interested even if it says sold out. I’m trying to check on these & keep it updated for you so everything listed is actually in stock.
First up is this Button Back Ruffle Hem Dress from Halogen. I love that this is one of the pieces that I can start wearing now, then add a cardigan & boots to transition into fall. The ruffle hemline & button back up the back are darling details on this work-appropriate dress. It’s still available in this black & pink floral, & in a navy & burgundy floral. I’m wearing a S & the fit is perfect, not too tight but not too loose. I also styled it with the Leith Easy Circle Cardigan in Pink Adobe. I’m wearing a S because I like a larger, more cozy fit that I can layer over long sleeves, but probably could have worn a XS. The cardigan is sold out right now, but I suspect that it will be restocked. It’s a bestseller every year.
Speaking of bestselling cardigans, you guys know that I can’t get enough cardigans!
Last year’s BP long cardigan was such a hit (I’m still kicking myself for not ordering it in every color) & this year’s ribbed version is already selling out. I got the Lightweight Rib Stitch Cardigan in Green Timber, a dark forest green that will be amazing for fall! At $31.90, this sweater is a steal. Plus, I love that it has pockets! It’s so comfy & leightweight that I’ll start wearing it now. Once it cools down, the length will work with leggings & boots. Again, I’m wearing a S but could have gone down a size. These Madolee OTK Boots by Vince Camuto are also a sale purchse, though this photo doesn’t do them justice. I went into this sale looking for tan OTK boots & loved these at only $159. They have the prettiest sticthing & cutout details along the top & near the ankle that adds a little western flair, without looking too casual. The block heel is comfy & there is a cutout behind the knee for even more comfort when sitting. I cannot wait for it to cool down so I can start wearing them!
The last cardigan, I promise! I just couldn’t resist the Layered Ruffle Sleeve Cardigan from Topshop! I was slightly worried that the sleeves would overwhelm my small frame (I’m only 5’4), but they are so cute!!! It also comes in black, but I went with the lilac because I already have several black cardigans. The fabric is a little heavier than the other 2 cardigans I ordered, so I’ll have to wait a little while to wear it. Pay attention to Topshop sizing when ordering since it’s a little different, I’m wearing a size 6 here (fits like 2-4). I’m also wearing the Lush Raw Edge Side Slit Tee underneath it. I love Lush tees & ordered this one in 2 colors (white & grey) since they were only $15. I wear a S in Lush tees. They are sold out right now, but I bet they will restock soon. I highly recommend picking one up when they restock, these tees are sooo soft!!! I’m also linking up the Caslon Rounded V-Neck Tee, which is really similar & still in stock.
Today I’m wearing this BP Pocket Tee in the Grey Medium Tawny Stripe, size S. I put it on this morning & could not believe how soft it is! It’s like wearing PJ’s in public, I feel like I’m getting away with something, lol. Seriously though, I can’t say enough good things about this tee. It’s going to be my regret this year, I should have ordered it in every color & pattern while I could have. I could wear an XS for a more fitted look. This Tory Burch Frida Leather Satchel was my big splurge this year. I love a Tory Burch bag & I don’t mind splurging on them because I know that they are high quality & will last forever. I have quality leather bags that are decades old that I still carry. I’m drawn to larger bags because I tend to carry my whole life in them & this one holds everything – wallet, makeup bag, iPad, etc. with room to spare. It’s got a detachable shoulder strap & is the softest leather. I opted for the pretty French Gray color since I already have black & tan satchels. Gray seems to be the color fall & it’ll look so good with all of my blush pink!
Finally, I place one more last minute order last night before early access ended. I’ve been looking for new black flats & I loved the bow on these Sam Edelman Raisa Flats. I couldn’t pass up this Waterfall Drape Cashmere Vest from Halogen – cashmere for under $100? Umm, yes please! I ordered it in the light gray color that it going to layer over everything this fall & winter. My last purchase was this Hinge Tie Sleeve Top, that is going to easily take me from summer to fall, work to play. I’ll start wearing it with a skirt or shorts now, then layered with jeans, vest, & boots in the fall. Happy shopping friends!
