How to Wake Up to Brighter Eyes!

March 23, 2017

PJ’s: Victoria’s Secret // Eye Mask: VII Code

I have struggled with dark circles & bags under my eyes for as long as I can remember.  It’s partly genetics, so matter how much sleep I get, there they are.  But then you add in the toll that working full time, building a blog, maintaining a social life, & dehydration can take on your skin & you’re left with bags, dark circles, signs of aging, dullness & all-around puffiness.  Needless to say, I am always on the lookout for the latest & greatest treat for the delicate skin under my eyes!

When VII Code recently reached out to me with the opportunity to try their Oxygen Eye Mask, I jumped at the chance! Each box contains 6 sets of eye masks, worn 2-3 times per week.  3 boxes are a full course of treatment.  The masks themselves are soft pieces of cotton coated on one side with a gel-like formula, a unique feature of the mask, that contains plant oxygen extracts, essential vitamins, antioxidants, proteins, botanicals, peptides and essential fatty acids.

The eye masks could not be easier to use.  You simply apply the eye masks to clean under-eye skin, then wear them for 8 hours overnight, which is completely different than other sheet masks & gives the gel time to really penetrate your skin.  The gel is instantly cooling & refreshing.  I will admit, I was concerned about the eye masks staying on overnight because I tend to sleep on my stomach & move around a bit, but I have had no issues with the eyes masks coming off or moving on my face at all.  In the morning, you just peel them off & there is no sticky residue or irritation left behind!

I’ve completed one box & I am loving the results so far!  I look more well-rested & refreshed in the morning.  I’ve also noticed less puffiness around my eyes.  I will definitely be finishing out the 3-box treatment & will keep you posted on the final results!

Lol, my mom gives me PJ’s every year for Christmas so I’m accumulating quite the collection. I’m planning a follow-up post with before & after pics when I finish the full treatment.

[…] Hello friends! You all know by now how much I love my skincare products, so I was excited when VII Code reached out with the opportunity to try out their Oxygen Eye Masks specifically designed for dark circles & their Oxygen Hydrating Eye Spray. I partnered with VII Code several years ago & loved the results from their classic Oxygen Eye Masks. […]
