Whew! It’s already August! I can’t believe that we’re still in partial quarantine, with no end in sight. I feel like we were all pretty optimistic at the beginning, but it’s becoming more of a struggle as time passes without getting back to normal. July was a pretty good month for reading, with some YA, some Fantasy, and of course lots of mystery/thriller. I read 7 books, which seems to be my average during quarantine. Hello friends! I hope that everyone had a great 4th of July weekend! We spent most of the weekend relaxing & I spent a good bit of it it curled up with a book, which you know if my happy place! I’m back today with a roundup of everything I read in June. As usual, it’s heavy on the thriller/mysteries, with a Jodi Piccoult thrown in for a little variety. I read two books by Alafair Burke this month, The Better Sister & The Wife, both were excellent! What are you reading right now?

I have reading up a storm lately, so this set of reviews is another long one. All in all, this was a much better set of books than my last one! I was also lucky enough to receive two pre-releases, so a big thank you to Lake Union Publishing! (I’ve noted those for reference, &, as always, any opinion is strictly my own.) I’m back on this lovely Wednesday with another round of book reviews! The cold temps make me want to curl up in front of the fire with a good book!
