Sephora’s Holiday Bonus Event opened up to VIB (15% off) & Insiders (10% off) today! This is a great time, pre-holiday, to stock up on some of your favorites or start getting gifts. I plan to do a little bit of both this weekend! There are so many great products at Sephora, but I don’t want to overwhelm anyone, so I’m sharing 6 of my favorite, go-to products & 6 products that are currently on my must-try-immediately list.

On My Must-Have List
Becca Ultimate Coverage 24-hour Foundation. This one is new to me, but so far I am obsessed! Emily Gemma, from The Sweetest Thing blog, has been raving about it, so I had to give it a try. It’s a full coverage foundation, with a really lovely, kind of glowy finish. I wear the shade “Cashmere” for reference.
Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Glow Moisturizer. This is my holy-grail moisturizer! I can tell a difference in my skin if I skip a few days in using this one, that’s how good it is. It uses a duo of AHAs—glycolic and lactic acids—to lightly exfoliate your skin to smooth it out & reveal more radiant skin.
Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair Deep Conditioning Mask. I mentioned this one in my first Beauty Empties post. It has been my go-to deep conditioner years. It’s free of silicones, DEA, and artificial dyes, so it’s easy on my color-treated hair. I use it every weekend to keep my hair soft, shiny, & smooth after a week of blow drying.
It Cosmetics! Your Skin But Better MakeUp Primer. I had to stalk this one for awhile before it came back in stock, but it was totally worth the wait. As I mentioned on my Instagram stories, this is another Emily Gemma find & I used it on our cruise to keep my makeup in place all day & in the humidity. It smooths out pores & really grips your makeup to keep it on all day long, without looking oily or greasy by the end of the day.
Kat Von D Shade + Light Face Contour Palette. This one is a Jaclyn Hill favorite & is a really great matte highlight & contour palette. I use a mixture of the lighter shades to highlight & set underneath my eyes, plus the middle contour shade daily. I’ve had this palette for what feels like forever & it has lasted because it’s heavily pigmented (& blends well) so a little bit goes a long way. Plus, the new one is refillable, so you can just replace the shade that you’ve used up instead of buying a whole new palette!
Buxom Full-On Plumping Lip Cream Gloss. I have lost count of how many shades of this lip-plumping, long-lasting, creamy gloss I have. I love that this gloss doesn’t make my lips sting or too tingly like some plumping glosses do. The colors are great & I’ve been really impressed with how long they last. My favorite shade is “Rose Julep,” a perfect rosy pink that works year-round.
On My To-Try List
Drybar Baby Buttercup Blow Dryer. I am in desperate need of a new blow dryer (mine may electrocute me soon) & this travel size version has been on my wishlist forever. It’s designed to increase shine, reduce frizz, and dramatically decrease dry time. It also folds up for easy travel & has a cool shot button for setting styles. Plus, it’s just so cute in a cheery yellow shade!
Sol de Janeiro Biggie Biggie Bum Bum Cream. Despite the fun name, this cream is serious stuff. It contains Guaraná, Cupuaçu Butter, & Açaí Oil to help visibly tighten and smooth skin, support natural circulation, & lock in moisture. People rave about it’s anti-aging capabilities & as I get older, the skin all over my body is starting to look old & dull, so I’m going to give this a try!
Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blast. I already use Living Proof’s dry shampoo & Jennifer Anniston swears by this brand. So if this volume spray promises instant & lasting volume & texture on my fine hair, I am in!
Fenty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Setting Powder. I swear by my Laura Mercier setting powder, but beauty influencers are raving about this Fenty find. It’s supposed to blur the look of pores, fines lines, and imperfections to give you to look of a hyper-smooth filter, all without caking.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration. Ok, I know I have two moisturizers on my to-try list, but winter is coming y’all & my skin gets so dry when it’s cold out. This one has Colloidal Oatmeal, Shea Butter, & Allatonin to calm, soothe, & hydrate really dry & distressed skin.
Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eyeshadow Palette. I love a good eyeshadow palette & how pretty is this one from Charlotte Tilbury? It comes in 12 options with 4 coordinating each, but I want to try “Pillow Talk,” with a rose-bud, pink, nude and taupe shade.
