Happy Friday friends! I got out of the habit of this weekly post, but realized that I missed popping in for a quick chat/life update & sharing some of my favorites from the week. So, I am bringing back Friday’s See It, Love It, Want It! This will be a round up of some the great reads that I’ve found online, things that I’m loving, & what’s on my must-have list, combined with a quick catch-up chat!
I hope that everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s Day week, whether you had someone special to celebrate with, spent time with girlfriends, or you were your own Valentine. I did a little bit of each this week. On Monday I had a date night at one of my favorite Italian restaurants with one of my besties. We had good food, drank some wine, & shared a lot of laughs. On Wednesday, Patrick & I tried a new seafood restaurant. If you’re in the Shreveport area, I highly recommend Frank’s Louisiana Kitchen! I am a firm believer in taking the time to care for ourselves, so I took some time to relax with a new book last night since I didn’t have any plans after work.
See It.
Speaking of taking time for yourself, if you need some ideas on how to pamper yourself this month check out these ideas on All the Ways to Love Yourself from The Chriselle Factor.
Caitlin stayed at the amazing Renaissance Resort and Casino (umm, hello flamingo beach!!!) & all the details are on Southern Curls & Pearls!
I am not a morning person by any stretch of the imagination, but man it’s hard to make myself work out after a long day at work, so maybe I’ll try these tips to Actually Work Out in the Morning.
Love It.
I am officially obsessed with my Rent the Runway Unlimited subscription! For those who weren’t aware, Rent the Runway is now so much more than designer gowns for black tie occasions. They have a huge selection of everyday, work, & casual clothing & accessories. For $159/month (just $99 for the 1st month) you get 4 pieces at a time, swap them out at any time or keep them as long as you want, & can buy any piece you can’t live without at a discount. It’s been amazing to have a rotating wardrobe of designer pieces for work & play, without spending a fortune on new clothes. Plus, I get to try new trends that I wouldn’t necessarily purchase because there’s no commitment! *This is not sponsored!*
