Happy Friday the 13th! I’m not really superstitious, but I’ll admit that I took a little pause this morning when I checked the calendar. Have you shopped the NSale yet? I’ve stocked up on layering pieces, cardigans, & some fall shoes so far. Check out yesterday’s post to see what was in my cart & what’s on my wishlist, or keep track of what’s hot on my #NSale page. Is anyone else excited for the weekend? It’s been a long few weeks. Work has been busy & I’ve spent my nights trying to recover from the workday, so everything else has fallen by the wayside. I’m hoping to have a GSD (“get sh*t done”) day tomorrow & catch up.
See It.
Ok guys, summer is officially here & it brought the intense heat & humidity with it. I feel like my makeup is melting off of my face as soon as I step outside, so I’ve switched to a lighter foundation, but I still need a hard-core setting powder to help keep everything in place. Allure put together a listing of makeup artist’s 11 best setting powders & there is a powder on this list for every situation you’ll find yourself in.

“Find something you love to do and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.” We’ve all heard it & if you’re a woman in your 20’s or 30’s, you’ve been encourage to find your passion. Heck, I’m guilty of encouraging people to find what they love & pursue it, because I’ve been in a miserable job & there isn’t much worse. But a new study is shedding some light on how we actually find our passion – is it something ingrained in us from the beginning, or can your passion be cultivated over time? This article in The Atlantic was a fascinating look at how we find our passion & how it can affect how hard we work.
Love It.
This week, I am loving my mug warmer! I know, it seems ridiculous to love something so simple & silly so much, but it’s so nice to have constantly warm coffee on my desk at work. For $10, it was definitely worth the splurge because my coffee was constantly getting cold before I finished it.
Want It.
Here’s my top 5 from the NSale!
