See It. Summer is officially here, which means the temps are soaring, we’re outdoors more, & we’re trying to stay in bikini shape. All of those things mean that it is really easy to become dehydrated. I am horrible about drinking enough water during the day, often choosing a soft drink or coffee instead. It is recommended that women drink 2.7 litres of water per day, which seems like a lot to me! But, dehydration can cause a variety of health issues, like fatigue & wrinkles! Today, Career Girl Daily published 6 Obvious Signs You Are Just Not Drinking Enough Water to make it a little easier to tell if you need to up your intake.
Love It. There are infused water recipes to fit just about any taste, with benefits varying based on what fruits you’re adding in. My favorite combo is strawberry, lemon, & mint. The strawberry helps to boost your immune system & curb appetite, plus it has anti-inflammatory properties. The lemon aids in weight management, improved digestion, & appetite control. The mint provides energy. Note: I am not a doctor & this is not medical advice! This is just a recommendation for a water recipe that I enjoy.
Want It. Last summer I got in the habit of keeping a large pitcher of water & fruit in my fridge. I loved the light flavor that the fruit added, plus I was getting some extra nutrients with my water! Win, win! The Define Water Bottle takes the same idea, but makes it a little more portable. The strainer in the center of the bottle keeps the fruit limited to the bottom section & out of your mouth.
