Whew!  Where has January gone?  It has been freakin cold here for the last few weeks & we actually got some snow today!  If it’s going to be this cold, I at least want some snow.  I’m like a kid with snow, I was up at 7am watching it come down, lol.  I realize that I probably wouldn’t enjoy it so much if we had it on a regular basis, but we only get one or two snow days a year, so it’s still fun.  Today, we had breakfast & played around outside for a little while.  Actually, it was just me outside since my animals were not having it.  There was no way my dog was going out in the snow, even to take a picture with me.  It’s supposed to freeze over again tonight, so we’re holed up in the house, enjoying a fire & a good book!

I typically shy away from bodycon styles, as my waist isn’t an area I try to accentuate, but the ruching on this dress combined with the stretch jersey material is so forgiving!  I just had to share this dress with you!  This ruched long sleeve dress is so comfortable & flattering, & the hemline is long enough that I can wear it to work.  It also comes in a sleeveless version that’s perfect for summer. This circle cardigan was an NSale find that’s still available in 7 colors & is on sale for under $50 right now!  I think that I need it in some more colors too.  These OTK boots in ‘Foxy’ (another NSale find that are 50% off now) are the perfect taupe shade.  I like that they’re cut out in the back, so they aren’t bunched up & uncomfortable when you sit down, & the block heel is made for comfortable wear.  Plus, the cut-out & stitching details are just so pretty!
