We’re halfway through with another busy week! As I mentioned before, I went to Goat Yoga a few weekends ago with two of my best friends. It was everything that I imagined & more! I think that I spent more time sitting on my mat playing with the cutest little baby goat than doing actual yoga, but that’s ok! There’s highlights on my Instagram Story if you want to check it out for yourself. We ended up missing all of the Mardi Gras parades this year because of weather, illness, etc., but I’m surprisingly ok with that. Cassie had some health issues, then I was sick last weekend, so we’ve had a few more weekends of hibernation around here.

Although it’s been rainy around here, the weather is finally warming up some. Spring is almost upon us & I am so ready to transition into more dresses & florals! Dresses are my go-to look for work during the spring & summer months because they are so easy to throw on & go. Plus, they’re usually just so comfortable. For now, I’m easing into warmer weather by wearing long-sleeve dresses, or layering with a jacket or cardigan.

This beautiful floral dress was a recent Rent the Runway find & I have gotten so much wear out of it while I have it. The bright floral pattern on a navy background is perfect for this transitional time between winter & spring, while the details truly make the dress! I love the soft layers of sheer silk, combined with the pleated neckline & ruching at the waist. Because this dress is out of my usual price range (which is why I love RTR Unlimited!), I’m also linking up some other great floral dresses to help you transition into spring!
Let’s talk about these Sam Edelman sandals for just a second – the Yaro Sandals are thankfully back again this year! The block heel makes them easy to wear all day, while the strappy look is easy to dress up. I have them in 2 colors already & plan on getting at least one more this season since they have become my go-to sandals. They come in so many color options that I just can’t decide!
