Good morning friends! I have really enjoyed working from home over the past few months, but it took me a little while to get in the groove of having my house be both my home & my office. Creating a designated office area to work from definitely helped, as well as getting into a set morning routine. Having a good morning routine helps set the tone for the day. I love reading about what other people do to set themselves up for a successful today, so I wanted to share what I have implemented for myself.
P.S. My lounge wear set is by Vici. The pants are sold out, but the sweatshirt is still available in limited sizes. I’m sharing some similar ones that are in stock below!CONTINUE READING
I can’t believe that I read 8 books in June! This is probably because the quarantine is on-going & I spent a wonderful weekend in the Arkansas mountains. I had plenty of time to curl up with a book! I just got in several books from the library, so next month’s list may be another long one. This month was a great mix of my traditional thrillers, with a fun satire & some YA thrown in. We have been in our house for 7 years now & have been going through some redesigns lately. I’ll be sharing rooms here as we finish them. The entryway is an area that has been pretty much set since we moved in, with the exception of changing out smaller decor items. The entryway is the first thing that most people see, so we wanted the decor to fit in with the rest of our house. We also added some personal touches. Read on for my 4 tips on how to style an entryway!CONTINUE READING
Over the last year or two, I’ve amassed quite the sunglass collection. It’s becoming a problem, lol. I’ve noticed that there are 3-4 styles that I’m constantly gravitating towards. In honor of #nationalsunglassesday, which is Saturday, today I’m sharing a round-up of the best offerings in four classic sunglass styles! These are the classic sungless styles that are always going to be in fashion, so you don’t have to worry about that. Aviators are the most sporty sunglasses that I wear & are super popular. Quay is my go-to brand for aviators at a great price, like these. Square are arguably the most classic shapes & flatter almost face shape. Black & tortoise-shell are the most versatile, but you can also find them in most colors. I love these affordable ones from Amazon – they are great dupes for the expensive Celine ones. Oversized come in most shapes & give an old-Hollywood feel. These rimless ones from Bp have a slight cat-eye shape & pink tinted lenses. Statement sunglasses are a great way to add a little something extra to any look. These black hearts are so adorable! Read on for more styles in each category.CONTINUE READING
