Happy Friday friends! It’s been awhile since I posted. Despite my best intentions, life got in the way. But I am so excited to share a new look & a little catch-up today! We had a low-key first married Valentine’s Day with a drink out & then dinner at home. It’s been a slow few weeks personally, but work has been really busy. That, plus the rainy weather has made me want to hibernate lately. Things are picking up over the next few weeks though & I’m excited to start getting out & about again.

Tonight we’re off to dinner to belatedly celebrate my dad’s birthday at my favorite Italian restaurant. It’s going to take a lot of will power to stick to Patrick & I’s new low-carb diet! Mardi Gras season is in full swing here & the first big parade is tomorrow, but it’s supposed to be pouring most of the day so I think we’re going to skip it & go the parades next weekend. In other fun news, stay tuned because I’m trying goat yoga tomorrow with 2 of my besties! I am way too excited about this & hope it lives up to my expectations!

By now it’s pretty obvious that Loft is one of my go-to places for cute work looks. I’ve been trying to shop less & wear what’s in my closet more, but I couldn’t resist this leopard top during a recent Loft sale. Leopard print isn’t going anywhere for spring & lets face it, it’s practically a neutral at this point. Expect to see this top on repeat through the spring! The heavier weight makes it more appropriate for the office than a regular t-shirt, but it’s still so comfortable. Plus, I love the little puff detail on the sleeves! These skinny ankle pants, in the Marissa fit, are a work staple for me. I think that I have them in 4 colors & just ordered them in a really pretty purple/grey.
