It’s the start of another week y’all! The next two weekends are jam packed, so it was nice to spend some time at home, catch up on sleep, & get organized for the week ahead. There’s something so comforting (& sadly kind of adult) about starting the week with a clean & organized house! I was also recovering from a nasty sinus infection, so some recovery time was definitely in order.
I picked up this lovely floral off-the-shoulder top when I was in Dallas a few weeks ago. The colors are such beautiful, deep, but still soft, pastels. The hues were so unique among the typical brights of spring & summer that I couldn’t resist. I’ve been wearing it nonstop for dinners & date nights, & get so many compliments on it every time. The top has tie straps, but I wear them tied underneath my arms – I have narrow shoulders & the straps on OTS tops never seem to stay up, plus I’ve found that having a strap underneath my arms helps the OTS top from slipping up too much. I can’t finish up without commenting on these fab block-heeled ghillie sandals. Last month I realized that my closet is heavy in tan & brown sandals, but seriously lacking in black sandals, so the hunt was on! I fell in love with the block heel, lace up style, & perforated detailing on these sandals. They are so versatile, matching up with everything from jeans on the weekends to a dress at work.
