My Fall Beauty All-Stars!

November 9, 2018

beauty favoritesHappy Friday friends! I wanted to pop in quickly today & share the beauty products that I’ve been loving lately. These beauty favorites are my go-to, use everyday, holy grail items!  Plus, Sephora‘s Holiday Bonus VIB Beauty Insider event starts today, so a lot of these items are on sale!  All Sephora Beauty Insiders get 15% off with the code BIBONUS. Don’t worry if you aren’t a Beauty Insider, you can still join here & enjoy the sale!

BareMinerals BarePRO Performance Wear Liquid Foundation. This is the liquid concealer that I’ve been reaching for most often lately. It’s a matte, full coverage foundation, so it’s definitely good for fall & winter, plus it’s long-wearing. I love that it covers flaws & blends out so well. And because it’s BareMinerals, it doesn’t clog my pores like some full coverage foundation does.

Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer.  This is hands-down the best concealer I have ever used! This stuff covers everything from dark circles to blemishes, but doesn’t settle into fine lines or creases! It also works to highlight & brighten the undereye area. This is literally the only concealer I’ve found to cover my dark undereye circles.

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder.  During the last Sephora sale, I decided to see what the hype was about & try out this much-revered setting powder.  Holy Cow!  I now understand why this powder is loved by just about everyone.  It really does blur everything out in a beautiful soft-focus effect.  Plus, it helps my foundation & concealer stay in place all day long.

IT Cosmetics Universal Brow Pencil. It took me a long time to realize that my face just doesn’t look finished until my brows are done. Then it took even longer to find a brow product that gave me defined brows that still look natural. This pencil is so easy to use, has a built in brow brush, & is a unique, works for everyone except the lightest blondes shade.

Morphe x Jacyln Hill Eyeshadow Palette. I have so many eyeshadow palettes & continue to buy more, but this one has just about everything you need. It’s actually the only eyeshadow I used for my wedding makeup.

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner. This has been my go-to eyeliner for years.  The colors are highly pigmented & go on so smoothly. It’s also easy to use because it’s a pen, rather than a gel or liquid & brush. This liner stays on all day & night, without having to be reapplied or even touched up.

L’Oreal Original Voluminous Mascara. This one is an oldie but goodie. No matter how many high-end mascaras I try, I keep going back to this drugstore one for length & volume.

Kat von D Shade + Light Palette.  This is the contour palette that Jaclyn Hill uses, so I figured that I would give it a whirl & picked it up a few weeks ago.  The shades are so pretty & easy to blend! Unlike most contour palettes, I’m using every shade.

NARS blush.  There is a reason that this blush in Orgasm is a favorite among make-up artists. It is a pinky-peach with a subtle golden shimmer, making it a universally-flattering shade. It’s an incredibly natural, blendable shade & works so well with Becca’s highlighter. It truly is an essential & is the only blush shade that I use.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter.  I prefer a powder highlighter because I use a setting powder & a cream highlighter just doesn’t work over that.  This formula is a super-fine powder & is so luminous, plus it works on almost any skin tone.  The shade Champagne Pop gives the perfect shine, without looking glittery or sparkly.

Morphe Continuous Setting Mist. First, I love that this setting spray is an aerosol, so you don’t end up with a series of patchy sprays across your face.  It’s super-lightweight & isn’t sticky like some setting sprays can be.  Plus, it dries to give a hint of a glowy finish to your skin.  I use it just after my setting powder, then again when my full face is done.

Buxom Full-On Plumping Lip Cream Gloss. I’m a sucker for a good lip gloss & I love that the colors in this long-wearing, glossy cream are pigmented enough to wear on their own. A peptide and hyaluronic acid booster gives you a slight tingly feel & makes your lips look plumper, which is something every girl loves!
