Hello friends! It’s no secret that fall is my favorite time of year & I mentioned on Tuesday that I am 100% HERE for all thing fall even though it’s still pretty warm here. Is it still in the weird transitional time where you live, where it’s a little cooler in the morning but still hot as heck in the afternoon? Today I wanted to share a quick, transitional look with pieces that are easy to mix & match into the coming season.

This whole look, sweater & skirt, is available from RTR. I shared my full RTR Unlimited experience here & have shared so many RTR-based looks on Instagram & on the blog since becoming an Unlimited member in Fall 2017. First, this Michael Stars sweater is so soft! It’s also lightweight & a tunic length, so it was easy to tuck into a skirt, but will also look great with leggings or jeans. I wasn’t able to find it for sale anywhere except RTR, but there’s a similar one here. For work this week, I paired the sweater with this wool-blend, plaid skirt from Rachel Zoe, which I can tell that it’s going to be a favorite throughout fall & winter. I’ll be pairing it with a heavier sweater, tights, & boots once it finally cools off some more.
