Over the last year or two, I’ve amassed quite the sunglass collection. It’s becoming a problem, lol. I’ve noticed that there are 3-4 styles that I’m constantly gravitating towards. In honor of #nationalsunglassesday, which is Saturday, today I’m sharing a round-up of the best offerings in four classic sunglass styles! These are the classic sungless styles that are always going to be in fashion, so you don’t have to worry about that. Aviators are the most sporty sunglasses that I wear & are super popular. Quay is my go-to brand for aviators at a great price, like these. Square are arguably the most classic shapes & flatter almost face shape. Black & tortoise-shell are the most versatile, but you can also find them in most colors. I love these affordable ones from Amazon – they are great dupes for the expensive Celine ones. Oversized come in most shapes & give an old-Hollywood feel. These rimless ones from Bp have a slight cat-eye shape & pink tinted lenses. Statement sunglasses are a great way to add a little something extra to any look. These black hearts are so adorable! Read on for more styles in each category.

Well, this has certainly not been the 2020 I expected! Louisiana entered quarantine on March 16 & entered Phase 1 of re-entry last Friday (May 15). I was very lucky that I was able to continue working from home for the duration. There have been ups & downs, & my anxiety definitely hasn’t made this any easier, but we’ve made the best of it through Zoom calls with friends & family. I had planned a big party for my 39th birthday at the beginning of May, but that was out of the question, so I spent a few evenings staggering visits from close friends. While it wasn’t the celebration I envisioned, it was wonderful to spend some quality time with my best friends. The weekend after my birthday, Patrick took me to the cutest AirBnb cabin on Cross Lake for a quick getaway. It was so nice to get out of the house for a weekend, even if we were still practicing social distancing. How have you been dealing with the stay-at-home order?

Memorial Day Outfit Inspo & the Best Sales

Happy Friday guys! Is anyone else ready for this weekend to be here already??? It’s been a busy & long week. We had a small dinner party on Wednesday night to belatedly celebrate a dear friend’s birthday & ended up playing Cards Against Humanity. I have not laughed that hard in a long time! It was so nice to catch up & let loose a little in the middle of the week. Tonight we’re having a girls’ night to celebrate one of besties’ on her birthday, but it’s a surprise so no details here!

In honor of the long weekend, I wanted to share some of my favorite red, white, & blue pieces that are perfect no matter what your plans are. I have this Madewell tank in 3 colors because it just that good! It’s also on sale for just $12.99 in the prettiest pink. A white denim skirt is a summer classic & this striped maxi dress has been on my wish-list all spring. My Favorite Sandals for Spring & Summer

Happy Tuesday friends! I’ve been a little absent around here & on social media lately – I spent several weeks having horrible, daily, tension headaches, so I was pretty much coming home from work & going to bed most days. But, I think that we finally have them under control now & I’ve had a few headache-free weeks now! Patrick & I have been working in the yard. His mother is a wonderful gardener, so she helped me pick out plants & flowers, then helped me put everything in the ground. I am hopeless in the garden, so I would have been lost without her! Patrick is in charge of the lawn & he works so hard to keep it looking amazing.
