Happy Monday! I hope that everyone’s week is off to a productive start! After a Father’s Day brunch yesterday, we took a Sunday drive north along Hwy 3049 toward Gilliam, Louisiana to see the annual Sunflower Trail. All along the roadway, farmers & homeowners plant sunflowers. Many of them put out signs to let passersby (like us!) know that it’s ok to to stop & cut some flowers to take home. Anywhere there is enough room to pull over, there are families stopped to take photos with the gorgeous blooms. Being a fashion blogger, you know I couldn’t resist the opportunity to get out of the car & get some shots of this cute shift skirt with such a pretty background! For brunch & a drive, I paired the skirt with a simple black tank & sandals to let the skirt’s pattern shine. I could also see myself pairing it with a yellow or red top to pull those accent colors forward.
