Happy Wednesday! I am back from our fantastic cruise vacation & sharing some of my favorite beauty products today. I hoped to get this post up yesterday, but I had to have a little medical procedure to hopefully alleviate my migraines & it knocked me down worse than I expected. But better late than never! Now on to the beauty empties! These are truly my ride-or-die products, they are the ones that I’ve emptied & re-purchased. I’ve talked about some of these before, but some are newer discoveries.
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer. I’ve talked about this concealer before. It is my absolute favorite concealer, & I’ve tried so many of them. It covers everything from dark circles to blemishes, but doesn’t settle into fine lines or creases! It also works to highlight & brighten the undereye area. Even if I’m not wearing foundation, I’m always wearing this concealer!
Nars Blush in Orgasm. There’s a reason that Orgasm is a cult-favorite shade. It is a pinky-peach with a subtle golden shimmer, making it a universally-flattering shade. It’s an incredibly natural, blendable shade. It truly is an essential & is the only blush shade that I use. I stock up to make sure that I always have some in my purse & some on my dressing table.
Smashbox Original Photo Finish Primer. This primer is a lightweight formula that goes on smooth, blurs fine lines & makes your makeup last all day. It’s not greasy, which can be a problem with some less expensive primers. There are several versions of the Photo Finish Primer, but I prefer the original, clear version.
Elemis Gentle Foaming Face Wash. I just started using this daily face wash & have been so impressed with it. It starts as a thick cream, but foams up nicely with a little water. I love a foaming face wash, & this one isn’t drying like so many of them are. It removes makeup & impurities, without stripping the skin of its natural oils.
Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! This weekly deep conditioner has been my go-to to restore moisture & vibrancy to my hair for years. It’s free of silicones, DEA, and artificial dyes, so it’s easy on my color-treated hair. It makes my hair, softer, shinier, & smoother, which is always needed after a week of heat-treatments.
