Whew! It’s already August! I can’t believe that we’re still in partial quarantine, with no end in sight. I feel like we were all pretty optimistic at the beginning, but it’s becoming more of a struggle as time passes without getting back to normal. July was a pretty good month for reading, with some YA, some Fantasy, and of course lots of mystery/thriller. I read 7 books, which seems to be my average during quarantine. Read on to see what I read in July & let me know what you’ve been reading in the comments!CONTINUE READING

Good morning friends! I have really enjoyed working from home over the past few months, but it took me a little while to get in the groove of having my house be both my home & my office. Creating a designated office area to work from definitely helped, as well as getting into a set morning routine. Having a good morning routine helps set the tone for the day. I love reading about what other people do to set themselves up for a successful today, so I wanted to share what I have implemented for myself.
P.S. My lounge wear set is by Vici. The pants are sold out, but the sweatshirt is still available in limited sizes. I’m sharing some similar ones that are in stock below!CONTINUE READING
I can’t believe that I read 8 books in June! This is probably because the quarantine is on-going & I spent a wonderful weekend in the Arkansas mountains. I had plenty of time to curl up with a book! I just got in several books from the library, so next month’s list may be another long one. This month was a great mix of my traditional thrillers, with a fun satire & some YA thrown in.
